Day 4

WAV will teach Nigerian women how to report incidences of violence and discrimination against women using social media. During the 8-week programme, the women will write about violence and discrimination in Nigeria; share strategies to address it; talk to people working on these issues and record these conversations on the blog, using photographs, audio and video. The women will be required to participate in an existing violence prevention programme or initiate their own activity and highlight this work through blogging. They will learn to use other tools that will increase the reach of their message, such as RSS and blog networks.
